Hyperion
High-intensity muff-style fuzz dubbed the 'Big Muff killer' with massive low-end and harmonic sustain.
Devi Ever has been building boutique guitar pedals by hand since 2003, creating some of the most sought-after fuzz tones used by artists like My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, and Wilco.
The Hyperion is a high-intensity muff-style fuzz that's been called the 'Big Muff killer.' It features a tweaked circuit offering huge low-end presence that works equally well for bass as guitar. At lower pregain settings it delivers a wooly fuzz reminiscent of the Sovtek Green Big Muff, while higher settings push into stoner-metal territory with shrieking, wailing harmonics.
The simple two-knob interface (Volume and Pregain) makes it intuitive to operate. The Pregain controls both level and character of the distortion, similar to pushing preamp tubes in a dirty amp channel. Perfect for psych rock, shoegaze, or stoner metal. The Hyperion was notably the first Devi Ever pedal to be cloned by another company.
