Herbert
Two-channel preamp pedal based on the massive 180-watt Herbert amp with Midcut circuit.
Diezel Amplification, founded in Germany in 1994, has become synonymous with high-gain excellence. Their amps are used by James Hetfield (Metallica), Adam Jones (Tool), and Neal Schon (Journey).
The Herbert pedal captures the dark, aggressive character of the 180-watt Herbert amplifier known for its massive depth and headroom. It features two channels with a core set of controls: Gain, Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence, and Deep, plus a footswitchable Midcut circuit with its own Master and Intensity controls.
Built in the USA with discrete circuitry (no ICs) for maximum sonic integrity. The Deep control shapes low-end punch in ways traditional EQ cannot achieve. Can be used as overdrive or standalone preamp into a power section. Runs on 12-18V DC (12V supply included).
