Boneshaker

The DOD Boneshaker was developed in collaboration with Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano to create a distortion pedal that could deliver crushing metal tones while maintaining note clarity. The result is one of the most EQ-flexible distortion pedals on the market.

Unlike typical distortion pedals with simple tone controls, the Boneshaker features a full 3-band parametric EQ. Each band—Low, Mid, and High—has its own frequency sweep control, letting you surgically shape the distortion character. The Mid Shift is particularly useful for dialing in or scooping out the midrange.

The Focus control adjusts the overall gain structure, while Level sets output. Players praise it for its ability to cut through dense mixes and its studio-quality EQ flexibility in a pedalboard-friendly format.
