Gunslinger Mosfet Distortion
MOSFET distortion with 9-18V operation for searing, amp-like drive tones.
The DOD Gunslinger uses MOSFET transistors to deliver a distortion character that feels more amp-like than typical diode-clipping designs. MOSFETs clip asymmetrically similar to tubes, producing rich harmonics and dynamic response.
The pedal can run on standard 9V or up to 18V for increased headroom and tighter low end. At 18V, the Gunslinger tightens up and gains more punch—a trick borrowed from high-end boutique pedals. Controls include Gain, Tone, and Level.
Built with DOD's standard rugged aluminum chassis and true bypass switching, the Gunslinger targets players who want a pedalboard-friendly distortion that responds to playing dynamics like a cranked amp. It stacks well with other drives and works equally well into clean or dirty amp settings.
