The DOD Ice Box Stereo Chorus FX64 represents the more full-featured option in DOD's chorus lineup. Beyond basic Speed and Width controls, it adds Delay Time and Regeneration for dramatically expanded tonal possibilities.
The Delay Time control adjusts the base delay of the chorus effect, allowing everything from tight, subtle doubling to wider, more obvious modulation. Regeneration feeds the output back into the input, adding intensity that approaches flanger territory at extreme settings.
Stereo outputs make the Ice Box particularly useful for recording or two-amp setups where you want lush spatial spread. The analog BBD-based circuit delivers warmth that digital choruses struggle to match. It's been a budget-friendly favorite since its introduction in DOD's FX series.
