Aghartha
Sunn Model T preamp emulation combined with RAT distortion circuit in one JFET-based pedal.
Does It Doom is a Philadelphia-based boutique pedal company specializing in doom and drone-focused effects. The Aghartha was designed in collaboration with Nick Williams of Dunwich Amplification, combining two legendary circuits into one devastating package.
The Aghartha pairs a JFET emulation of the center input from an early 70s Sunn Model T preamp with a modified RAT distortion circuit. The single Grimm control blends between pure Model T preamp (at minimum) and full RAT saturation (at maximum), with everything in between offering varying textures of gain.
An internal master volume trim pot allows the Aghartha to function either as a distortion pedal into your amp front end, or as a full preamp into an effects return or power amp. Premium components include Neutrik jacks, Lumberg power jack, and mil-spec aircraft wire.
