Dominion Electric Effects Co. is a Canadian boutique pedal maker based in Ottawa, specializing in vintage-style fuzz and boost circuits built with premium NOS components. The Firebox Treble Booster draws from the Dallas Rangemaster and Diaz Texas Ranger lineage.
Built around hand-selected NOS germanium transistors (RCA 2N404 or Mullard/Philips OC44), the Firebox delivers the treble boost tones that defined British blues-rock. The Range control sweeps from subtle shimmer to aggressive, harmonically-rich overdrive.
An internal Full/Cut dip switch customizes the Range knob sweep. For best results, place the Firebox first in your signal chain before any buffers, as treble boosters interact with your guitar pickups for their characteristic sound.
