Disorder
Aggressive analog fuzz with self-oscillating filter, envelope follower, and CV connectivity.
Dreadbox is a Greek synthesizer manufacturer known for analog circuits and Eurorack integration. The Disorder is their wildly aggressive fuzz pedal with a self-oscillating filter that ventures into synth territory.
The circuit combines fuzz with switchable high/low pass filter, resonance control that pushes into self-oscillation, and an envelope follower with up/down direction switch. This creates everything from simple autowah to extreme filter sweeps. CV filter input and envelope output connect to modular systems.
At 50mA current draw with buffered bypass, the Disorder works equally well for guitar, bass, and synthesizers. Dimensions are 14 x 10 x 5.6 cm. The input trim pot accommodates various signal levels from guitar to line level.
