The Forest Song
High-voltage overdrive running at 18V or 30V internally, with 6 clipping modes and resonance filter.
Drunk Beaver is a Polish pedal company founded by Ukrainian builder Vitalii Bobrov, known for pushing extra headroom through internal voltage multiplication.
The Forest Song runs at either 18V or 30V internally from a standard 9V input, switchable via a Volts toggle with an LED indicating the current mode. Six clipping options cover the full range: boost (raw op-amp, no diodes), red LEDs, 2N7000 MOSFETs, vintage silicon, NOS germanium DG-51, and asymmetric silicon. A Resonance control boosts or cuts at 500Hz and 800Hz peak filters for midrange shaping.
Drive sweeps from clean boost to mid-gain overdrive, Volume sets the output, and the Resonance filter adds or subtracts mids. The high internal voltage gives exceptional headroom and dynamic response. 9V DC center-negative power.
