Tornado MK2
Analog OTA phaser with 2/4/6 stages, dual presets, vibrato mode, and 40-second LFO sweeps.
Drunk Beaver is a Polish pedal company founded by Ukrainian builder Vitalii Bobrov, known for creative circuit combinations and extended feature sets.
The Tornado MK2 is a fully analog phaser using OTA AK317DC chips, combining features from the Ross Phaser, EHX Small Stone, and Blackout Whetstone Phaser. A Stages toggle selects 2, 4, or 6 phaser stages. Mode toggle chooses between Phase I (in-phase), Phase O (out-of-phase), and vibrato. Range toggles between normal, fast, and slow LFO rates with sweeps from ring modulation speed down to ultra-slow 40-second cycles.
Dual footswitches enable preset switching with independent Rate A/B speed controls. Effect Level blends wet and dry, Resonance adds feedback for more pronounced phasing with some added grit, and a Sweep toggle selects wide or shallow LFO depth. Draws 10mA from 9V DC center-negative.
