EarthQuaker Devices built the Zap Machine around a sequenced noise gate that chops your fuzz signal rhythmically.

The fuzz section delivers thick saturation. The gate section creates patterns that interact with your playing dynamics. Speed and pattern controls shape the rhythmic chopping. At faster speeds, it creates sputtery, synth-like textures.

V2 improved noise floor and added FlexiSwitch operation. True bypass via relay switching. Requires precise playing technique to sync with the gate.
