Subminiature tube boost with NOS Sylvania 6112, from unity buffer to 30dB of tube gain.
The Fire Bottle uses a hand-selected NOS Sylvania 6112 subminiature tube, a Mil-Spec component designed to withstand 20,000G shock and extreme conditions.
It ranges from audiophile unity-gain buffer to 30dB of clean boost or amp-pushing overdrive. The tone control derives from 1940s Fender Harvard circuits. A variable resonance switch optimizes response for single coil pickups.
Limited edition due to dwindling NOS tube supplies. The 6112 cannot be replaced as it's soldered internally, but these tubes were built for decades of service.
