The LA-1A Leveling Amplifier puts audiophile-grade tube compression in a pedal, using four tube stages in parallel to achieve an extraordinarily low noise floor. This expensive design approach delivers the natural warmth and program-dependent compression of classic studio limiters. Available with JJ tubes or premium NOS Brimar valves, with 12AU7 or low-mu 13D8 options. Transformer-balanced output with attenuator switch matches professional recording equipment.
