Freeze

Electro-Harmonix created the Freeze to hold any sound indefinitely. Step on it, the sound at that instant sustains until you release.

Three modes: Fast grabs the sound instantly for rhythmic freezing. Slow fades in the sustain for ambient swells. Latch holds the sound until you step again. Effect control sets how long the sound takes to fade in.

Not a looper or reverb. The Freeze captures and sustains the harmonic content of whatever notes you play. Ambient players and soundscape artists use it constantly.
