Octave Multiplexer

Electro-Harmonix designed the Octave Multiplexer as an analog sub-octave generator. Adds one octave below your guitar signal.

The Sub control sets the octave level. Low Filter shapes the sub frequency character. Blend control mixes with dry signal. The analog circuit has that chunky, synth-like sub tone.

Monophonic tracking - single notes only. Works best above the 7th fret with neck pickup. Lower notes cause tracking issues like all analog octave circuits.

Analog sub-octave for thick, organ-like tones.
