Octavix

Electro-Harmonix recreated the classic octave-up fuzz circuit used by Hendrix. The Octavia's ring-mod-like octave effect with fuzz.

The circuit generates upper octave harmonics through full-wave rectification. Boost control adds gain before the octave generation. Fuzz control shapes the distortion intensity. Bias knob adjusts the transistor operating point.

Works best with neck pickup above the 12th fret. Lower notes produce clanging ring-mod sounds. Part of EHX's signature fuzz family.
