T2
Maestro Rhythm N' Sound G2 recreation—percussion synth, sub-octave, fuzz, triggered filter, echo repeat—18V.
The T2 recreates the legendary Maestro Rhythm N' Sound effect console from the 1960s, bringing guitar synthesis and multi-effects processing to compact pedal format. Maestro's original G2 combined multiple effects impossible to achieve with standard pedals: percussion synthesizer triggered by pick attack, sub-octave bass strings with quick decay, fuzz with parallel dry blend, triggered filter (WOW WOW) functioning as fixed wah positions, and ECHO REPEAT percussive tremolo that resets with each note to create delay illusion.
Five effect sections operate via rocker switches and dual footswitches. PERCUSSION synthesizer generates four different drum sounds triggered by instrument attack—revolutionary in 1960s, allowing guitarists to add rhythmic elements. BASS STRINGS sub-octave generator with quick decay on pick attack thickens low-end. FUZZ footswitch toggles fuzz effect; when bypassed, Natural Amp setting remains active, when engaged, Natural Amp rocker switch toggles dry blend in parallel. WOW footswitch bypasses modulation section comprising WOW-WOW triggered filter, ECHO REPEAT tremolo, and COLOR TONES 1 and 2 fixed wah positions.
All-analog construction with mechanical true bypass switching. 18V DC center-negative power (unusual—requires dedicated supply, may have issues with multi-output supplies). The T2 targets experimental players, collectors, and vintage enthusiasts seeking authentic 1960s guitar synthesis textures, suitable for psychedelic rock, garage rock, and avant-garde music where the G2's unique combination of effects defined legendary recordings but original units cost thousands on vintage market.
