Glaive
Crushing op-amp octave fuzz with 80dB+ of gain. Green Russian meets synth territory.
Electronic Audio Experiments designed the Glaive for players who want fuzz that can level buildings. This is not a subtle effect.
The circuit stacks multiple op-amp gain stages for over 80dB of gain on tap. The octave circuit produces upper-octave harmonics that get more pronounced as you roll up the Blend. Think Green Russian Muff meets analog synth. The Gate control adds sputtery, dying-battery texture when you want things to get weird.
Three-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) gives you serious tone-sculpting power. Scoop the mids for doom metal, boost them to cut through a mix. The Mid control is particularly useful since octave fuzzes can get lost in band contexts.
This pedal excels at walls of noise, synth-like leads, and any situation where restraint is not the goal.
