Emma Electronic emerged from Denmark in 2000 when engineer Jan Behncke set out to build the world's best envelope filter. Many say he succeeded.

The DiscumBOBulator has earned legendary status among envelope filter enthusiasts, used by Pino Palladino, Ida Nielsen, and Adrian Belew. Its name combines discombobulated with that distinctive BOB sound.
