The Hosta is an analog optical wah/filter with digital controls, replacing the traditional rocker pedal with knob-based control across three distinct modes.
Core controls: Level, Frequency, Depth (Gain in V1), and Q. Mode-dependent controls adapt the A and B knobs: Auto mode adds Speed and Shape for LFO-driven filter sweeps with four continuously variable waveforms. Fixed mode uses the A knob for static filter position, with expression pedal acting as a traditional wah. Envelope mode uses Threshold and Sensitivity for playing-dynamics-driven filter response.
Expression/tap jack for external control. Original version, succeeded by the Hosta V2. Discontinued.
