Octave Fuzz

FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.

The Octave Fuzz combines monophonic octave-up pitch shifting with fuzz saturation, in the tradition of the Tycobrahe Octavia and Roger Mayer Octavia that Hendrix made famous. 117x71mm, adhesive-on-aluminum. True bypass, 9V center-negative.

Octave-up fuzz works best on the neck pickup above the 12th fret, where tracking is cleanest. Lower notes produce a broken, ring-mod-like character that's equally usable if you want chaos.
