Burning Goat

The Burning Goat is a medium overdrive loosely based on a pedal that a friend built for Nick Greer. The natural light clipping texture blends with most every amp, making it useful from country to rock to metal.

Volume, Gain, and Tone controls shape the sound. The Tone knob acts like a presence control, pushing both treble and gain frequencies higher as you turn it up. Smooth, asymmetrical clipping provides a singing quality for leads and solid foundation for rhythm.

The pedal can work as an amazing clean boost, light overdrive, or push your amp to that slightly gritty tone you're after. Intentionally voiced with medium gain for applications from clean boost to searing lead.
