X-Time

IK Multimedia brought their acclaimed AmpliTube plugin algorithms to hardware with the X-GEAR series. X-Time houses 16 delay and echo effects with 192kHz processing and 4x oversampling.

The delay types cover analog-voiced tape echo to pristine digital and experimental looping textures. All-new algorithms were developed specifically for X-GEAR rather than modeling existing hardware. Tap tempo and BPM/MIDI clock sync ensure perfect timing with your performance.

True stereo inputs and outputs, selectable true/soft bypass, and a pure analog dry path maintain signal integrity. Full MIDI implementation, USB preset management, and expression control provide deep integration. The USB port doubles as a 24-bit recording interface.

Built in Italy with an anodized aluminum chassis, X-Time weighs 906g and stores 300 presets (50 factory). Virtual versions are included with AmpliTube 5 for seamless studio-to-stage workflow.
