IK Multimedia brought their acclaimed AmpliTube plugin algorithms to hardware with the X-GEAR series. X-Space delivers 16 studio-quality reverb effects with 192kHz processing and 4x oversampling.

The reverb types span from realistic rooms and halls to experimental shimmer and the unique X-MODE, which creates infinite feedback trails for ambient soundscapes. Each algorithm was developed fresh for X-GEAR rather than modeling existing units.

True stereo inputs and outputs, a pure analog dry path, and selectable true/soft bypass ensure pristine signal quality. Full MIDI implementation, USB preset management, and expression control round out the feature set. The USB port also functions as a 24-bit recording interface.

Built in Italy with an anodized aluminum chassis, X-Space weighs 906g and includes 5 cabinet impulse responses for direct-to-PA use. 50 factory presets showcase the range of reverb colors available.
