FMeron

Iron Ether makes unique effects and synth modules in Portland, Oregon. The FMeron is a frequency modulation synthesizer controlled by your guitar or bass pitch and dynamics.

Two pure sine wave oscillators track your playing. The Modulator oscillator modulates the Carrier frequency, creating the bells, clangs, and intense electronic timbres that define FM synthesis. The FM knob sweeps from pure sine through increasingly complex harmonics.

An envelope generator triggers on each note, controlling either FM amount or synth volume for slow-attack or percussive sounds. Octave switch lets the synth track an octave up, down, or at pitch. Expression input controls FM amount in real-time.

Relay-based true bypass, 85mA at 9V, measuring 4.7 x 2.5 inches. A unique synth voice for bass that nothing else quite replicates.
