Delay Llama
Analog BBD delay with 600ms of warm, degrading repeats. Tap tempo and hold for oscillation madness.
Jam Pedals has been handcrafting analog effects in Athens, Greece since 2005. Their Delay Llama series represents their commitment to bucket-brigade technology, using V3205SD chips (faithful Panasonic MN3205 reproductions) and through-hole construction when most makers have moved to surface-mount.
The Delay Llama delivers up to 600ms of warm analog delay, with that characteristic BBD degradation that digital delays struggle to emulate. Jim Campilongo, Marc Ribot, and Adrian Legg have all relied on various Llama versions over the years—testament to its musical voice.
Level controls wet/dry mix, Delay Time sets the repeat interval, Repeats determines feedback amount. Tap tempo with subdivisions (eighths, quarters, dotted eighths) lets you lock to the song. The Hold footswitch sends the pedal into self-oscillation—controlled chaos for ambient textures or feedback swells. A toggle switches between true bypass and trails mode.
