Dyna-ssoR Bass

Jam Pedals developed the Dyna-ssoR Bass for players who need that classic CA3080 compression character but optimized for bass guitar frequencies. The circuit is voiced to preserve low-end punch while delivering the familiar squash and sustain.

Like the guitar version, it combines Ross Compressor smoothness with DynaComp attack, using increasingly rare NOS CA3080 chips. The bass-specific voicing ensures the compressor enhances rather than squashes the fundamental frequencies that bassists depend on.

Level sets output volume, Sustain controls compression amount. Works best with passive bass pickups—hot active electronics may clip the input. At 6mA current draw, it's efficient enough for battery power on gigs where you want to travel light.
