Wahcko
Red Fasel inductor wah with 6-position sweep range. Bufferless design plays nice with fuzz pedals.
Jam Pedals drew inspiration from late-1960s Crybaby wahs for the Wahcko, chasing that deep swell and smooth highs that defined the original era. A red Fasel inductor and carbon-comp resistors deliver the goods. The impressive artist roster—Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Nile Rodgers, Steve Lukather, Dweezil Zappa—speaks to its musical voice.
The bufferless proprietary circuit design is crucial for players running germanium fuzz after their wah. Impedance-sensitive fuzzes that sound wrong after buffered pedals work perfectly after the Wahcko—no need for workarounds.
The 6-position rotary switch selects different frequency sweep ranges, letting you dial in exactly the vocal character you want. Internal trimmer adjusts input gain. A silent true bypass footswitch eliminates click when engaging. Built like a tank at 1kg, it matches the robustness of any Jim Dunlop wah.
