3 Series Flanger

JHS designed the 3 Series Flanger to capture the character of legendary analog flangers that now fetch collector prices—the Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress, Tycobrahe Pedalflanger, and MXR M117. Those pedals defined flanger sounds in the 70s and 80s before digital took over.

The circuit delivers the jet-plane swoosh and metallic resonance that made flangers essential for progressive rock and new wave. Three knobs control speed, depth, and resonance, while the toggle switches between subtle chorus-like movement and full flanger intensity.

At 70mA, it's hungrier than the drive pedals but typical for analog modulation circuits. Built in Kansas City with quality components. Classic flanger tones at a fraction of vintage prices.
