Kilt 10

JHS celebrated a decade of the Kilt in 2025 with the Kilt 10, a limited edition (5,000 units) refinement of Stu G's Expandora-inspired overdrive. The polished aluminum enclosure and vintage-style knobs recall the original Bixonic aesthetic, while circuit improvements address player requests accumulated over ten years of feedback.

The updated clipping section delivers more usable headroom, a smoother attack, and improved touch sensitivity with slightly more compression. The G1/G2 toggle system remains, offering four clipping combinations from low-gain edge-of-breakup through heavily gated fuzz. The flat/cut toggle now makes a more noticeable difference in bass response, and the overall gain range (0-25%) sits in a more musical sweet spot.

Volume, Gain, and Tone knobs keep the interface simple despite the tonal versatility. The Kilt became one of JHS's best-selling drives since 2015, and the Kilt 10 refines rather than reinvents the formula. Red Remote compatible for external G2 switching.
