Ruby Red

JHS collaborated with producer Butch Walker to create the Ruby Red, combining two powerful circuits tailored to Walker's recording and touring needs. The left side delivers the Superbolt circuit—vintage Supro amp tones that powered Jimmy Page's Led Zeppelin debut. The right side adds a custom two-stage boost designed to either slam the Superbolt into saturation or push your amp into natural breakup.

The Superbolt side provides Volume, Tone, and Drive controls with a Plus toggle that adds sag, compression, and extra gain for thicker character. The boost section runs independently or stacks with the overdrive. An order toggle switches which circuit hits your signal first, enabling different sonic combinations—Superbolt into boost or boost into Superbolt.

Each effect works standalone or together for complex gain structures. Standard 9V center negative power, less than 100mA draw. Measures 3.65" × 4.65" × 1.2". Butch Walker's go-to dirt tones for both studio precision and stage reliability.
