The JF-12 Voodoo Octave delivers the screaming octave-up fuzz sound made famous by Jimi Hendrix. This pedal combines aggressive fuzz with an upper octave that becomes prominent on neck pickup single-coil tones above the 12th fret. The circuit captures that wild, harmonically-rich character that defined Purple Haze and other psychedelic classics. Controls allow adjustment of the fuzz intensity and blend between the octave and base fuzz signal. The pedal responds to playing dynamics, cleaning up somewhat with lighter picking while exploding with aggressive attack. True bypass switching maintains clean signal when not engaged.
