Mag Echo

The Mag Echo recreates the warm, wobbly character of vintage magnetic tape echo units. Real tape machines had mechanical imperfections—wow and flutter from inconsistent tape speed, saturation from the recording heads, gradual high-frequency loss on repeats.

Keeley built all of that into the Mag Echo. The echoes degrade beautifully, darkening and warbling as they fade. Adjustable modulation controls the tape instability from subtle to seasick.

Tap tempo syncs the delays to your playing. Trails mode lets the echoes fade naturally when you bypass. For players chasing that vintage Echoplex or Space Echo vibe without the maintenance headaches.
