Super Rodent
Boss SD-1 meets ProCo RAT in a 4-in-1 analog switchable circuit. Best of both worlds.
Robert Keeley took two of the most iconic drive circuits ever made and crammed them into one pedal with switchable components. The Super Rodent gives you a Boss SD-1 Super OverDrive on one side and a ProCo RAT on the other, but the magic happens when you mix and match their tone stacks and clipping sections.
Four combinations emerge: SD+SD for classic SD-1, RT+RT for vintage RAT, or hybrid modes that pair the RAT's filter with SD-1's soft clipping (or vice versa). The soft clipping delivers smooth tube-like breakup while hard clipping brings the RAT's aggressive edge.
Runs on 9V or 18V for extra headroom, and you can toggle between true bypass and buffered switching by holding the footswitch. At $199, it's essentially two legendary circuits plus two bonus hybrids that never existed before.
