Moai Maea
Analog octaver with upper octave fuzz, dual sub-octaves, and FX loop. Monophonic but gloriously chaotic on chords.
The Moai Maea pays homage to powerful analog octaver tones of yesteryear. The upper octave section delivers edgy, fuzzy character reminiscent of late-60s Hendrix and Stooges tones. The sub-octave section turns guitar into filthy ground-shaking sub bass.
Independent footswitches control the Shriek (upper octave) and Drone (sub-octaves) sections. Toggle between first sub, second sub, or both for bone-breakingly heavy subsonic attack. Individual mix controls for clean, upper octave, and both subs allow precise blending.
A buffered FX loop in the clean path lets you add effects to your dry signal. Like vintage octavers, it's monophonic for clean tracking, but chords sound gloriously distorted and glitchy. Handmade in Berlin.
