Blackheath

The Blackheath is a handcrafted analog bass distortion from Laney's Black Country Customs line. A 3-position Mode switch selects between Dist 1 (aggressive classic stompbox distortion), Dist 2 (natural tube-like saturation), and Overdrive (subtle grit). The Range control adjusts low-end distortion character, while Colour shapes the distortion voicing.

Designed specifically for bass guitar with careful attention to preserving low-end definition across all three modes. Tri-color LED indicates the active mode. Buffered bypass. Runs on 9V DC center-negative or 9V battery at 10mA draw — roughly 30 hours of battery life.
