Forest Green Compressor (Handwired)

The Forest Green Compressor is based on Björn Juhl's BJFE Pine Green, manufactured by Mad Professor under license. It meets high standards for guitar and bass compression with extremely low noise and high overload margin for wide dynamic input range.

Two modes change the character completely. In Compressor mode, the Level control adjusts overall volume, allowing use as a clean booster. In Sustain mode, Level controls only the sustained portion, preserving attack while amplifying decay and weaker notes. Attack and decay times are internally optimized for swift attack and slow release.

The Compr. control sets compression and sustain amount. The Sustain/Compressor switch fundamentally changes how the pedal feels. Sustain mode preserves dynamics and touch sensitivity while extending note decay. Compressor mode provides more traditional studio-style compression.
