The Carbon Copy Deluxe adds modern conveniences to the beloved analog delay formula. Tap tempo with multiple subdivision options (quarter, dotted eighth, eighth) syncs delays to performance tempo. External mod controls bring the internal trim pots to the surface.

The core BBD-based circuit delivers the same warm, dark repeats as the original. 600ms maximum delay time. The degrading character of analog processing remains intact despite the added features.

Bright and Dark switches adjust the repeat character. The modulation section adds chorus-like movement when engaged. Tap tempo integration solved the main limitation of the original without compromising the analog warmth.

True bypass switching. Larger enclosure accommodates the additional controls. For players who loved the Carbon Copy but needed tap tempo, the Deluxe provides the solution while maintaining analog authenticity.
