The PastFX Reticon Flanger is a faithful recreation and expansion of the notorious Buffalo FX Reticon Flanger, utilizing the same rare NOS Reticon 512-stage bucket-brigade device (RD5106 chip) that powered the original. This pedal captures the distinctive character of one of the most sought-after flangers in pedal history.

Seven primary controls shape the sound: Rate (speed), Range (narrow to wide sweep), Color (intensity), Matrix (filter/LFO freeze), Level, Treble, and Blend. Internal controls include a Mod Switch (Stock default or Bright preference) and LED dimmer for brightness adjustment. The circuit delivers everything from subtle jet-plane whoosh to aggressive, resonant metallic sweeps with the organic warmth only true BBD circuits can provide.

Measuring 112mm × 60mm × 31mm (4.4" × 2.36" × 1.22"), the Reticon Flanger requires an 18V DC negative-center power supply drawing under 50mA—no battery option available due to voltage requirements.
