The Gruff V1 represents RoShi's purist approach to recreating the rare 1966 Triangle Big Muff V1 First circuit with hand-wired construction. Using a reference unit from their own collection, RoShi meticulously analyzed and replicated the perfboard layout and component selection that defined the original's legendary fuzz character.
Vintage Japanese transistors, ERO MKT1813 coupling capacitors, 24mm potentiometers, and pre-RoHS carbon film resistors combine to deliver the massive sustain and harmonic complexity that made the Triangle V1 First a holy grail among fuzz collectors. Standard Volume, Sustain (gain), and Fuzz (tone) controls maintain the original three-knob simplicity.
