The Secret-2 is dynamic overdrive pedal that captures atmosphere and nuances of British rock tones while maintaining natural character of your original sound. Designed by Secret EFX's electronic circuit designer Guido Borghesani (founded by Luca Cesaroni), Secret-2 delivers exceptionally wide dynamic range with clear, low-noise performance.
Gain control offers tremendous versatility, starting from pristine clean tones at zero and progressing through multiple degrees of saturation. When pushed to maximum (up to 11), Secret-2 provides that extra push over cliff to achieve fuzz-like distortion characteristics. Despite this range, pedal maintains clarity and responds to playing dynamics throughout its entire sweep.
Passive tone circuit modulates treble frequencies in modest, musical way without affecting core definition of your sound. This allows players to tame harsh cabinet resonances or rough distortion edges while preserving note clarity. Master volume control is positioned at end of circuit and changes only output level without affecting character of gain structure. Following Secret EFX's standard construction, Secret-2 is handwired in Italy and features true bypass switching.
