Fooz
Analog fuzz synthesizer with filter, LFO tremolo, and envelope follower. Turns guitar into aggressive synth.
The Fooz transforms your guitar into an aggressive analog synthesizer using a heavily saturated square-wave fuzz as the oscillator. From there, filter, LFO, and envelope follower shape your tone in ways no standard fuzz can match.
The filter switches between low-pass synth mode and band-pass wah-like voicing. LFO-based tremolo offers control over depth, speed, wave shape, and symmetry. Eight DIP switches on the back customize envelope and expression pedal response.
Gain range spans 4dB to 72dB for everything from mild grit to total destruction. The all-analog signal path ensures organic response while expression pedal input enables real-time filter sweeps.
72mA current draw at 9-18V. Tap tempo footswitch. Discontinued but remains popular with experimental players.
