Giant Meat Pie
Massive Big Muff variant with extended sustain. Huge, droning fuzz that fills every gap in the signal.
The Giant Meat Pie is a Ram's Head era Big Muff Pi variant built with BC239 silicon transistors, oversized tropical fish capacitors, 1/2 watt carbon composition resistors, and open-frame Switchcraft jacks — all in a large-format enclosure to accommodate the vintage-spec components.
Sustain, Volume, and Tone controls in the standard Big Muff layout. The BC239 transistors deliver a tangy, biting, articulate fuzz with smooth musical compression — targeting David Gilmour's Big Muff tone from Pink Floyd's Animals and The Wall era. Limited production due to dwindling supply of tropical fish capacitors.
The smaller BC239 Fuzz was later created as a more accessible alternative after the Giant Meat Pie sold out. Handmade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. True bypass.
