Gemini IV

The Gemini IV houses two distinct fuzz circuits in parallel—pure silicon and pure germanium with NOS AC128 transistors. Each circuit has independent Gain and Filter controls, with a blend knob mixing between them.

Filter controls offer full-pass at noon, high rolloff clockwise, and massive mid-scoop counterclockwise (excellent for bass). Gain covers soft wooly tones to blistering destruction. The Phase toggle switch creates extreme textures when blending circuits together.

A small Level dial sets overall output. Silicon provides stability and aggression while germanium delivers warmth and touch sensitivity. True-bypass mechanical switching. Hand-soldered in Portland, Oregon. Current draw 4.5mA.
