Polaris

The Polaris is a dynamic medium-gain overdrive with flexible tone-shaping via an optional 2-pole resonant filter controllable by expression pedal. Level, Drive, Initial, and Filter are the four main knobs.

The Depth toggle selects single-pole low-pass, deeper 2-pole filter, or 2-pole resonant filter for extreme shaping. Bass toggle offers bass cut, boost, or flat. Initial blends raw pre-filtered overdrive to balance extreme filter settings.

All three filter options are fully sweepable via expression or CV, opening the door to inspiring movement within overdrive tones. Compatible with Mission Control for auto-filter effects. Hand-soldered in Portland, Oregon.
