Sputnik

The Sputnik is a unique all-germanium fuzz featuring vintage Soviet transistors in a compact enclosure. Range delivers everything from light overdrive to thick, sustain-laden fuzz. Calibrate dials in tone with extensive interaction with Range.

The Filter switch enables a second tone-circuit variation, doubling tonal options. Sync/Drift switch transforms the mild-mannered Sputnik into a corrupt death ray—synth tones, oscillation, pseudo-octaves, 8-bit artifacts. The Scan mini-knob adds interactive control in Drift mode.

True-bypass mechanical switching. 2.2 Meg ohm input impedance. Current draw 4.5mA engaged, 2mA bypassed. Hand-soldered in Portland, Oregon with military-spec wiring.
