JRS: Glaciers

The JRS Glaciers is a silicon transistor preamp/EQ designed for tone sculpting before the amp. While the Americana Series Glaciers uses NOS germanium Mullard OC42 transistors, this Junior Ranger version uses silicon for a more affordable entry point.

Dual-stage preamp with a Fender Bassman 5F6A-style interactive tone stack. The Gain knob adds pleasing midrange emphasis when cranked. Treble and Bass controls interact like a real amp tone stack, with the Depth knob controlling frequency into the first gain stage.

True bypass, 1590BBS enclosure, 9V DC center-negative. Part of the Junior Ranger Series.
