Brigadier
Original dBucket delay with bucket loss control and up to 5 seconds of delay time.
The Brigadier introduced Strymon's dBucket algorithm—a sophisticated emulation of vintage bucket brigade delay chips that captures their warmth and subtle degradation without the noise and bandwidth limitations. Delay times extend from 40ms to an expansive 5 seconds.
The Bucket Loss control is the secret weapon, adjusting how much signal degrades with each repeat stage. Low settings produce cleaner repeats; high settings create increasingly filtered, lo-fi trails. Filter and Modulation controls further shape the delay character.
Tap tempo with selectable subdivisions keeps delays locked to your playing. True bypass or analog trails mode lets repeats decay naturally. The Brigadier established the dBucket as a new category of delay.
