Octasynth
Analog octave synthesizer generating synth tones from your guitar. Monophonic tracking with filter sweep.
Pure analog synth pedal with no digital processing. An IC-based octave generator converts guitar to three square waves feeding an analog resonant low-pass filter. Two analog ICs handle octave generation and filtering.
Blend (mix of 3 octave voices—left for two octaves down, right for one octave up, center for all three), Depth (filter range—higher settings push cutoff higher with each note), Resonance (filter feedback, near oscillation at max), and Level controls.
Monophonic single-note tracking only. The dynamics-responsive filter tracks pick attack to control cutoff. Mirrors classic analog synthesizer architecture in miniature. Extremely low 10mA current draw runs efficiently on battery. Three-octave blend spans sub-bass to upper-octave synth leads. 9-12V DC. 4.4 x 2.3 x 1.0 inches.
