The Dreamcatcher is Sushi Box's flagship dual-channel tube preamp designed for maximum flexibility for both bass and guitar. The clean channel (Blue) is based on the Underground Accelerator circuit with warm clean tones with ability to push into subtle overdrive when driven harder. The drive channel (Red) is a completely new Sushi Box design covering an impressive range from moderate crunch to chunky distortion all the way to aggressive fuzz.
Each channel features independent controls, allowing players to dial in two completely different tones and switch between them on the fly. Channel status LEDs indicate which channel is active even when bypassed. The Summer 2024 revised edition incorporates premium film capacitors in the audio path for improved clarity and soft-touch relay bypass switching for silent, reliable operation.
The large enclosure (5.72" x 4.77" x 1.55") houses substantial tube circuitry requiring 9-12VDC power supply capable of at least 600mA. Essentially combines two complete preamps in one box, ideal for players needing pristine clean tones and heavy drive sounds without multiple pedals.
